Contest
(Since I'm not exactly "popular" I'd appreciate it if anyone helped me to plug this contest a bit.)

The task: Designing a new outfit for my character Kusatsu. There is no particular theme. That's entirely up to you. Please note me with the link to your entry.

The prize: $100(USD) to first place. If there are enough entries I may add a $50 second place and other prizes as well. Prize money will be sent via Paypal however if you do not have it, an arrangement could be made with you to purchase something online for you up to the value of your prize.

The deadline: I am not sure yet. Again it will depend on the response. June or July?
How the winner is determined will depend upon the number of entries. If there are few I will just choose myself, if lots I may select judges or put them up for voting.

Character info:
Visual references and existing main outfits
This is her 'battle' attire [link] and one outfit I dub the 'black queen' [link] - other character references can be available upon request.

An important thing to note related to her appearance are the 'quills' on her head. These extend from the BACK of her head (not the sides of her head or her face!) and point backwards (NOT out to the sides) and up -- note these side views, hopefully they will give the idea [link] [link] but ignore her colours in the latter.

This is just to give you an idea of what she is like for those who may need ideas.
Personality: She is badass, extroverted, and eccentric at times. Prone to drunkenness and thrillseeking. Tough but feminine though could -never- be considered girly. Funloving and affectionate.
Influences: Nina Williams from Tekken and Maya Natsume from Tenjou Tenge have probably influenced her design and character quite a bit. I like the whole femme fatale thing.
Motifs: She has a personal family insignia [link] - including that in your design somewhere is entirely optional.
